History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Nicholas reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Guard who has hired him part-time. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
