History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: William wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Gifted from a young age, Manfred studied abroad. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
