History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. William was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.
