Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He worked as a nervous Bowyer and found it very stressful. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Hunter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to find somewhere to settle down

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
