History: Aldous was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was born in the north. A freak accident while working with his Priest mother left him crippled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
