History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Hunter was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Roger was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
