He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: Born in the south to a Body Guard, Adam learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Body Guard for the past few years.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
