One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: William was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Unemployed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is fixated on the number 24. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against orcs
