History: Roland was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Dean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
