History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Manfred's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
