History: Born in the west to a Ploughman, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
