History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Kody learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure.
