William Darlington, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personal [hide]
Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears baggy red pantaloons and a yellow scarf. His brown hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are a pleasant violet.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Geoffrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Geoffrey was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Jeweler job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and further expansion of business

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
