He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Architect for the past few years.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Hubert was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He prefers to carry a nunchaku, but if one is not available he will default to his longbow. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
