The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Lance never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
