History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is content; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Priest, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull black iron scale mail. He has wavy chestnut hair. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed pastel hat.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and revenge
