Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: An older man who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his silver hair down. He has gray eyes and a violet hat with a black feather.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Aldous isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aldous grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is dressed in an above average manner. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to get a good night's sleep
