Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, green shirt, and pastel tie. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to be a jeweler again

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with red slacks, marred by chocolates. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Voice: growls and snarls, animalistic

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He is physically well-built. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Lance's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and money/treasure

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
