Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely brown suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and human compassion

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
