Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born in the west to a Butcher, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

History: Born to a Glassblower, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
