History: Born in the north to a Server, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. History: He was born in the south. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city.
