History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Shane wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to get a good night's sleep

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Spy. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to be a cook again

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in a small forest village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
