History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hubert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hubert. Being a Apothecary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

He wears a grey coat over a violet low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Solomon hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Dilettante. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and many orcs want him driven away

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Gilbert has worked very hard to control his curse. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Thomas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Thomas was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mercenary. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
