He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Patrick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Patrick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a roofer again

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
