History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Thomas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Thomas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
