History: He was born in a small island village. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
