History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After months of barely getting by, Randal managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
