Jocelyn Gresham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He has moderate length black hair. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and someone believes him a fraud
Flaws: Ugly, Shy. Bonds: Poor, Enemies, Slave. Occupation: Farmer
Voice: Scottish accent

Lance Lindsey, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 5'2" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wants to raise his children well
Ideals: Impeccable. Flaws: Selfish. Bonds: Attractive, Family, Nature. Occupation: Soapmaker

Hugh Kinsley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family.
Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Antagonistic. Bonds: Family, Military. Occupation: Knight
Voice: Timid voice

Roger Walpole, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears baggy pastel pantaloons and a green scarf. He is an epitome of beauty. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born in the south. Roger liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
Ideals: Opinionated, Fighting. Bonds: Attractive, Nature, Immigrant. Occupation: Locksmith
Voice: Excited and jittery
