Description: A middle-aged man, he wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a club, but if one is not available he will default to his mace, and is pretty ugly. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair is long and golden with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: Robert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, tan shirt, and green tie. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult.
