History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Detective who has hired him part-time. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'10". He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born in the south. His childhood dream was to be a Locksmith, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his absent mother
