History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
