History: The child of a Body Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Theobald was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cory. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
