History: Thomas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His ears are large.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
