History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
