History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'4". He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Conrad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is cut close to his head. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to be a map maker again

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He takes great joy in being the best Weaver in town.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
