Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears dull black sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. His head has been shaved. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gomory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His yellow leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. He has shaved his head bald. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Beggar soon after.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is unsatisfied with his job

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and revenge
