History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. During his travels, Nicholas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nicholas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nicholas fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Theobald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the west to a Ploughman, Theobald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 16. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Performer for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
