History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
