History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Theobald took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This slender man stands about 6'4". He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has chestnut hair. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is wracked by social anxiety
