History: Born in the south to a Sailor, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Geoffrey reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
