History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Performer. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
