History: Conrad was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sickle with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Balimaar's homeland. Balimaar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and further expansion of business

Description: An older man who dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with black slacks, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This tall, slender man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has wavy white hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Tim liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
