History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Doctor, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Charles's homeland. Charles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
