His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Solomon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
