His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He usually wears his grey robe and has his sword always slung over his shoulder. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and expand his business

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his black hair up. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this northern man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and wants to work out more often

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is physically well-built. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent mother
