Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a great chef.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Manfred studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
