History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Clerebold wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Clerebold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the west

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
