History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man prefers to wear white clothing when he does not wear armor. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has achieved small success as a Tailor.
