He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Trey is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Trey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
