Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has a crush on the local spice merchant
